Job Summary:
The Training and Systems Specialist supports the organization’s talent development and employee experience by delivering key learning programs, managing HR technology systems, and leading early career and onboarding initiatives. This role facilitates training programs, ensures accurate Learning Management System (LMS) data and reporting, and serves as the operational lead for learning, performance, engagement, and recognition systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, and vendor coordination. The position also oversees the internship program, ensuring a high quality experience that strengthens the talent pipeline. In addition, it leads employee experience programs such as onboarding and tuition reimbursement, maintains related resources and workflows, analyzes survey data, and coordinates enterprise wide employee experience events. This role enhances development, engagement, and the overall employee journey.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Training & Development
- Facilitates and delivers learning and development programs aligned with organizational needs, including, but not limited to:
- New Employee Orientation
- Leadership Academy
- Ready Leader Program
- Skills and professional development training
- Supports the design and continuous improvement of training programs through feedback, evaluation data, and collaboration with the Employee Experience & Inclusion Manager
- Maintains accurate training records, attendance, and completion data within the learning management system (LMS)
- Provides timely reporting and insights to HR partners and leaders to support development and performance conversations
- Learning & Engagement Systems
- Provides advanced technical support and configuration management for HR platforms, ensuring systems operate effectively. This includes system troubleshooting, managing integrations and vendor escalations, maintaining system configurations and security roles, performing data audits and complex reporting, supporting system updates and enhancements, and creating technical training materials to enable HR teams and end users.
- Serves as the primary liaison between HR, internal systems, and third-party vendors to support system integrations, troubleshooting, and data flow
- Ensures system data accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Generates reports and dashboards related to training participation and program utilization to inform decision-making
- Internship Program
- Recommends and implements program enhancements to ensure a rewarding and challenging intern experience that supports talent attraction goals.
- Leads and manages the full lifecycle of internship program events, communications, and programming to ensure a cohesive and high impact experience
- Employee Experience Programs
- Oversees the experience, design, content, structure, and continuous improvement of the full onboarding lifecycle.
- Creates and maintains high-quality onboarding materials, resources/toolkits, online learning resources, and manager guidance.
- Ensures onboarding workflows and content are accurate and user-friendly within the LMS and HRIS systems.
- Collaborates with Communications, IT, and business areas to ensure a cohesive and seamless new-hire experience.
- Analyzes onboarding and exit survey data, identifies trends, and provides insights and recommendations to improve experience and retention.
- Manages the Tuition Reimbursement Program, including communications, guidelines, system tracking, and employee support
- Coordinates logistics for enterprise-wide employee experience meetings and events.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Training & Development and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- At least two years of training and systems experience required
- Experience with Adult Learning and/or Organizational Development programs preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and Performance Management Systems preferred
- Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Knowledge of course authoring tool (i.e. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
- Knowledge of webinar programs (i.e. WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $58,000 - $69,000.
