If you’re experienced in steel distribution sales, Alro Steel has a great opportunity for you! Right now, we have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager covering the Greater Chicagoland, Western Illinois, and Eastern Iowa markets.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• assisting Territory Managers with maintaining and expanding a customer base;
• developing new long-term customer relationships;
• developing and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets;
• coordinating and assisting in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation;
• solving customer JIT delivery and material challenges.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• be required to have excellent communication and presentation skills;
• preferably have distribution experience in metals;
• preferably have a four year degree and/or four years outside sales experience;
• have excellent organizational and planning skills;
• have a valid driver's license;
• possess PC skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
