Inside Sales Representative at Chip 1 Exchange USA Inc – Irvine, California

Primary Purpose

Maximize company growth, revenue, and profitability by achieving the organization’s short- and long-term targets through strengthening relations with customers, providing solutions and making Chip 1 our customers’ first choice with respect to their supply chain needs.

Essential Functions

• Hunt & Close: Prospect new business aggressively. You will be given leads, but your success will come from your ability to dig, cold call, and uncover new opportunities.
• Market Arbitrage: Use your diagnostic skills to identify supply chain gaps for customers and fill them using Chip 1’s global resources.
• Own the Relationship: Move beyond being a vendor to becoming a strategic partner. You will negotiate pricing, manage high-volume accounts, and ensure Chip 1 is their "First Call".
• Manage the Cycle: Monitor your active purchase orders and shipments in our XCRM to ensure on-time delivery and protect your pipeli

• Qualified: You have 2+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success, (B2B or Electronic Components preferred) and the ability to travel up to 50% to solidify key relationships.

Background & Education Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience is preferred.
• Successful track record prospecting, initiating and closing high volume business transactions.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment:

• Work primarily in office setting but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or more
• Working hours may include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates (e.g. to facilitate overseas communication)

Physical Requirements:

This job may require frequent sitting. Candidate must be able to lift up to 5 pounds and to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Candidate must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
