The role: We are seeking a Food Technologist for the R&D team, specializing in the development of chocolate by fat-based fillings. In this role, you will support the Research and Development team throughout the entire process of creating new products, from defining innovative recipes to ensuring successful industrial-scale production.
What will you do:- Conduct research on new chocolate formulations, ingredients, and production techniques.
- Develop and test prototypes to enhance taste, texture, and shelf life while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and quality assurance, to implement R&D projects.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and industry standards.
- Document findings, prepare technical reports, and present research outcomes to stakeholders.
- Education: Degree in Food Science & Technology.
- Professional Skills: Experience in R&D / QC, product development, or food processing, in the chocolate or confectionery industry.
- Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in chocolate products.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Behavioural Requirements: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in dynamic context. Strong relationships skills.
- Location: Gallarate (VA) on the production site.
- Working hours: Full time, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday.
