The Opportunity
As a Correspondence/Mail specialist, you’ll play a critical role in enforcing the fundamental fairness on which our company was founded. You’ll be supporting one of the largest teams within the company by allowing them to be highly efficient in their roles. Our goal is to leverage technology, data, and a team of highly talented people to build a claims experience that is recognized as number 1 in the industry. You’ll be performing daily mailroom operations, which includes but not limited to preparing and scanning a high volume of documents within the established guidelines and procedures.
Salary Range: $44,000

How You Will Make an Impact
- Opens, sorts and delivers incoming correspondence to appropriate internal departments
- Assembles and prepares generated outbound mail
- Maintains and records inbound and outbound mail via certified mail, including mail sent FedEx or UPS
- Preparing and scanning paper documents according to directions and specifications
- Utilize scanner to scan a variety of documents that vary in paper sizes
- Daily maintenance/cleaning of the scanner to ensure image quality and functionality
- Assist team members with document preparation and indexing
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Ability to work full time in the office required
- 1+ years of experience in an office environment
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must be able to lift 10-30lbs
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Have proficiency and skill using a computer and scanner systems
- Ability to troubleshoot computer issues/problems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Communicates and collaborates effectively in a matrixed environment
- Ability to handle ambiguity and quickly adapt when changes occur
- Able and willing to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to approach problems with an open mind
- Flexibility and comfortable handling multiple different tasks at once
