JOB DESCRIPTION
Brand Intern
Reports to Brand Director
JOB PURPOSE: The Brand Intern is accountable for acting as a contributing member of the Brand Team, supporting key business initiatives, events and projects designed to drive traffic, sales, trial, reservations and overall brand awareness for an independently owned restaurant group that provides authentic Texas hospitality and lifestyle through fare and unique experiences. This position will work closely with all cross-functional teams including Catering & Events, Finance, People & Culture, Operations and more.
This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where the intern will learn the innerworkings of a 49-year-old restaurant brand and build relationships and develop key skills needed to thrive in the industry. You will work with the leaders of the Brand team while contributing to wider business objectives. This is a 20-25 hour per week internship and an in-office position.

BRAND DEPARTMENT VISION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain brand standards, guidelines, and voice across all platforms and touchpoints
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our brand and generate brand awareness
- Project managing brand efforts, leading agency and internal teams
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive insights and opportunities for the brand
- Support the creation of marketing materials, both digital and printed
- Leverage consumer insights to contribute to brand strategies and briefs
- Support brand projects and campaigns in collaboration with other departments such as Operations, Catering & Events, People & Culture, Culinary, Beverage, Finance and more
- Participate in creative brainstorms
- Support the overarching brand strategy by providing administrative support to the team
- Remain organized yet flexible, capable of working on multiple projects at the same time and remaining level-headed when priorities shift
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently studying marketing, communications, PR or a related field at an accredited university
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication and presentation skills (Spanish-speaking preferred but not required)
- Curiosity about all aspects of the restaurant industry
- Previous internship or work experience is preferred
- Passion for restaurants and Western culture
- Experience working in a restaurant environment a plus
- Experience in photography, digital and graphic design including strong computer skills and proficiency in but not limited to Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe and other relevant Apps is preferred
- Experience utilizing Monday.com a plus
- Reliable transportation
- A computer of your own
