RN Staff at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a 21-bed Emergency Room. The ER RN will perform a variety of tasks including patient assessment, triage, treatment, and documentation. The role demands critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and strong clinical skills to manage a wide range of medical emergencies and trauma cases.

*Licensure/Certification*

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred

*Experience *

• • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred.

*Skills*

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
