Technical Challenge:As an SDET Engineer, you will architect and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our backend systems and front-end interfaces. You'll bridge the gap between development and QA, establishing robust CI/CD pipelines and driving quality engineering practices across multiple startup ventures.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures with a strong focus on backend testing strategies
• Build and enhance front-end testing capabilities for web applications, ensuring UI/UX quality and cross-browser compatibility
• Implement workflow automation solutions to streamline testing processes and improve development velocity
• Design and maintain automated test suites that produce consistent, reliable results across local and CI environments
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in backend development and testing methodologies, with demonstrated ability to test complex distributed systems and APIs
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies and testing approaches for web applications
• Advanced proficiency with Selenium for web application test automation
• Experience with workflow automation tools and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency
• Strong command of Git for version control and collaborative development
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and environment management
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for deploying and testing cloud-native applications
• Solid SQL skills for database testing and data validation
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL database systems
• Proficiency in Python for test automation scripting and tooling development

Preferred Experience:

• Experience building AI-driven automation workflows, including hands-on use of AI tools and integrations (e.g., Git-based workflows, Claude skills and commands).
• Experience with React for front-end testing and component-level automation
• Familiarity with TypeScript for building type-safe test frameworks
• Knowledge of Next.js for testing server-side rendered applications
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration in test environments
• Familiarity with Kafka for testing event-driven architectures and message streaming
• Experience with Databricks for data pipeline testing and validation
