Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned self-starter to support our Head of Finance as we continue to expand our operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, preferably with a background at a top-tier accounting firm. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work directly with the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date books using QuickBooks

· Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment processing

· Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and cash application

· Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

· Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

· Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entry preparation

· Maintain and organize supporting documentation for all transactions

· Process and record payroll journal entries in coordination with HR/payroll provider

· Assist with preparation of sales tax filings and other compliance requirements

· Respond to internal requests for transaction history, documentation, and reporting

· Identify and flag bookkeeping errors or process gaps to the Head of Finance

· 5+ years of experience as Senior Corporate Accountant or Director of Accounting in a corporate environment, CPA preferred

· Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and basic GAAP principles

· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

· Experience with inventory or manufacturing accounting is strongly preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
