La Crosse Beverage in Onalaska Wi is now hiring a 3rd shift Warehouse Associate - Beer Picker. The team members of La Crosse Beverage are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers.

The Warehouse Associate – Beer Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and building customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position ensures product accuracy, maintains warehouse organization, follows safety standards, and supports overall operational efficiency to meet customer delivery timelines.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 5pm-3am.

Requirements:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently and quickly pick customer orders for next day delivery
  2. Locate products using voice pick technology
  3. Builds pallets from orders and positions the products on the pallet in an organized and functional manner
  4. Ensures that the correct number and type of product are on the correct pallet order
  5. Mark appropriate pallets with identifying information using appropriate labels
  6. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required
  2. Must obtain sufficient knowledge of company products to answer routine inquiries; Must obtain knowledge of supplier policies especially freshness standards and product markings
  3. Experience with forklifts is preferred; ability to obtain company forklift and equipment certifications is required
  4. Possess an analytical and mechanical aptitude
  5. Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
  6. Attention to detail
  7. Strong organization skills
  8. Possess good visual acuity at various distances with dimensional depth perception and color distinction
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely
  11. Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and comprehend verbal and/or written communications
  12. Ability to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers and customers in respectful manner
  13. Ability to learn and operate all the necessary equipment safely
  14. Ability to operate a computer, hand-held computer, voice picking commands and scanner
  15. Ability to interrupt invoices

Safety and Equipment:

  1. Steel-Toed/ANSI Standard Shoes are required
  2. Company paid uniform is required to be worn at all times

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
  2. Experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
  3. Ability to obtain company forklift and equipment certifications.
