Certified Nursing Assistant at Easter Seals Florida Inc – Palatka, Florida

Pay rate will be $15.45 per hour

We are seeking compassionate CNAs to join our mission-driven team and provide meaningful, hands-on care to individuals with disabilities, special needs, and older adults. This role is ideal for someone who values dignity, respect, and building genuine connections with those they serve.

What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfers)
• Monitor client well-being, observe changes, and report concerns promptly
• Document care, including vital signs and daily activities
• Support a safe, respectful, and culturally responsive environment
• Assist with meals, snacks, and restorative exercises
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety and infection control procedures
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable space
• Collaborate with the care team and participate in ongoing training
• Driving to travel to client homes is an essential responsibility

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Minimum 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities, special needs, and/or the aging population
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional with a strong commitment to quality care
• Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business
