About This Position
Help build and lead a team from day one.
We’re looking for an Assistant Café Manager to help launch our Houston location and play a critical role in building a strong, people-first culture. This role partners closely with the Café Manager to drive operations, develop the team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do
• Support all aspects of café operations: staffing, scheduling, inventory, and performance
• Coach and develop team members through real-time feedback and training
• Maintain high standards for service, quality, and cleanliness
• Help drive accountability and performance across the team
• Step in to lead shifts and problem-solve in real time
What We’re Looking For
• Leadership experience in coffee, food service, or retail
• Strong operational mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Passion for developing people and building strong teams
Compensation & Training Pay
• Base Pay: $14/hour
• Training Differential: +$9/hour while in training
• Designed to help offset the absence of tip share during the training period
Training & Travel Requirement (Important)
• 3-week paid training in San Antonio prior to Houston store opening
• Must be available for travel during this time
We’ve got you covered:
• All travel expenses paid
• Hotel accommodations (pet-friendly)
• Daily per diem provided
• Mileage reimbursed (if applicable)
