Responsibilities:

• Collaborate daily with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure leadership decisions and actions support organizational goals.
• Communicate regularly with employees to ensure understanding and execution of departmental priorities related to safety, productivity, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Make independent operational decisions and escalate to higher management when required.
• Use production schedules to prioritize equipment and departmental resources to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Oversee payroll-related activities, including tracking vacation time, holidays, and overtime for hourly employees.
• Coordinate with other manufacturing leaders to ensure critical departments and equipment are adequately staffed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies, identifying hazards, and correcting issues or reporting them to Maintenance, Engineering, or management.
• Set and monitor performance expectations, address areas for improvement, and drive continuous performance enhancement.
• Lead by example by upholding company values, ethics, and integrity.
• Manage all aspects of employee supervision, including hiring, work assignment, performance evaluation, recognition, disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and leadership development.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant technical education or three years of related on-the-job training.
• At least four years of recent experience supervising manufacturing operations.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, industrial engineering principles, and tooling processes.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage manufacturing production programs effectively.
• Capable of supervising personnel in ways that promote efficiency, teamwork, and high employee morale.
• Proficient in using general office equipment and manufacturing related computer applications.

Salary: $74K-$112K
