Overview

The Line Cook prepares menu items according to established recipes while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. This role supports the kitchen through accurate cooking, timely execution, and effective communication. Line Cooks must follow all hygiene, safety, and allergen‑handling procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare menu items following recipes and specifications.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Keep stations clean and stocked.
  • Follow FIFO and labeling procedures.
  • Communicate item shortages or safety issues.
  • Support expo when needed.
  • Safely use knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow allergen‑control procedures.
  • Assist with prep work.
  • Complete cleaning tasks and checklists.
