Senior Compliance Professional

This role is a key contributor to ensuring regulatory integrity, operational compliance, and risk mitigation across complex healthcare and insurance frameworks. You will work within a highly regulated environment, interpreting federal and state requirements and translating them into practical, sustainable compliance solutions. The position requires a strong mix of analytical thinking, regulatory expertise, and independent judgment to manage moderately complex to complex compliance matters. You will also play a visible role in monitoring compliance performance, supporting oversight of sales activities, and ensuring marketing and operational materials meet strict regulatory standards. Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, you will help shape corrective actions, enhance compliance programs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, strategic exposure, and the opportunity to influence compliance outcomes at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, CMS, and Department of Insurance regulations to ensure full organizational compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and programs that support regulatory adherence and operational effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary compliance contact for regulatory and governmental agencies while maintaining strong external relationships.
  • Oversee first-line sales compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable rules and internal standards.
  • Review and evaluate marketing and operational materials to ensure compliance with CMS and other regulatory guidance.
  • Lead the development, monitoring, and improvement of corrective action plans in response to identified compliance issues.
  • Establish compliance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to assess program effectiveness and inform leadership decisions.
  • Contribute to compliance program enhancements and strategic initiatives while exercising independent judgment in daily responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, consulting, or a related regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS and Department of Insurance regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in compliance monitoring, auditing, reporting, and corrective action planning.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex compliance issues and influence outcomes across stakeholders.
  • Experience overseeing Medicare sales compliance activities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
