Job Description

(Senior) Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist (gn)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a (Senior) Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist (gn) in Italy.

This role sits at the core of a high-impact product growth function within a leading digital learning platform used by over a million learners. You will be responsible for designing and executing structured experimentation programs that directly influence subscription growth, user acquisition, activation, and retention. Working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, you will turn insights into action by shaping A/B tests across the full user funnel. The role involves close collaboration with product designers, engineers, analysts, and senior stakeholders to identify high-potential opportunities and translate them into measurable business outcomes. With strong ownership over experimentation strategy, you will help increase testing velocity while ensuring quality and learning depth. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on digital education at scale while working in a modern, remote-first and highly collaborative environment.

Accountabilities

You will lead and optimize experimentation efforts across the user journey, ensuring that insights translate into measurable growth. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining, designing, and executing end-to-end CRO experiments across the full marketing and product funnel, from hypothesis creation to analysis and rollout.
  • Building and maintaining a structured experimentation pipeline, prioritizing initiatives based on impact, effort, and learning value.
  • Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate ideas into robust, testable experiments.
  • Leveraging analytics tools, user research, and competitive insights to identify conversion opportunities and develop strong hypotheses.
  • Analyzing and interpreting experiment results, sharing insights and recommendations with stakeholders to drive continuous optimization.
  • Supporting a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across growth and product teams.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is both analytically strong and growth-oriented, with a passion for experimentation and measurable impact. You should bring:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in CRO, growth optimization, UX experimentation, or similar data-driven roles.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing A/B tests or experiments that led to measurable business impact (conversion, revenue, or engagement improvements).
  • Strong experience working in high-velocity testing environments with a focus on balancing speed, quality, and learning outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical skills with hands-on experience using tools such as GA4, Amplitude, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to structure, prioritize, and communicate experimentation strategies aligned with broader growth objectives.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Convert) and ideally UX/research tools such as Hotjar.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly present insights to cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Fully remote-first work model (with flexible working arrangements across Europe)
  • Flexible working hours supporting work-life balance
  • Remote work support, including equipment budget for home office setup
  • Public transport or mobility subsidies depending on location
  • Additional paid time off for personal engagement, plus company holidays (Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve)
  • Wellness support including fitness memberships and mental health resources
  • Employee discounts on learning products and partner platforms
  • Team events and strong culture of collaboration and continuous learning
  • Additional benefits card offering flexible local perks and allowances
