This role is the primary BIM management and Common Data Environment (CDE) administrator to ensure high‑quality, predictable delivery. It also provides internal and external case studies that demonstrate how Design Technology improves client outcomes (speed, quality, predictability), while also attracting top engineering talent.

Responsibilities:
Project & Data Operations Management
· Serve as the primary administrator of Common Data Environments (CDEs), ensuring appropriate data structure, access permissions, version control, and alignment with project and client requirements.
· Support projects operating in CDEs by managing Civil 3D model setup, standards application, and data organization in accordance with firm guidelines.
Operational Enablement
· Lead the hands‑on implementation and day‑to‑day adoption of Autodesk engineering tools, including Civil 3D, Grading Optimization, Navisworks, and BIM workflows, working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with project teams.
· Act as a trusted internal resource for engineers by providing training, troubleshooting, and workflow guidance to enable effective use of design technology on active projects.
Standards, Best Practices & Workflow Support
· Act as the central resource for Residential and Grading best practices, supporting consistent workflows and model quality across projects.
· Apply and help refine digital workflows, standards, and documentation, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and repeatability.
· Provide guidance on applying standards in real project scenarios, collaborating with senior staff as standards evolve.
Model Health, Coordination & QA/QC:
· Monitor and support model health and data integrity, including reference management, data shortcuts, file organization, and QA/QC practices, to help teams meet milestones reliably.
· Implement and train users on multi‑discipline coordination workflows, including clash detection and issue tracking, to improve collaboration across teams.
· Support the review of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and coach teams on producing contract‑compliant deliverables in required native and exchange formats.
Knowledge Sharing & User Support:
· Lead regular CAD roundtables to share updates on tools, standards, workflows, and industry trends, while gathering user feedback to inform continuous improvement.
· Support the CAD Helpdesk by responding to tickets, troubleshooting issues, identifying recurring challenges, and recommending training or standards updates.
Talent Enablement
· Contribute to talent attraction and retention by showcasing innovative workflows, tools, and project successes.
· Model Bohler’s Core Operating Principles and set the standard for leadership across the company
Firm Impact & Marketing
  • Support internal and external marketing efforts by demonstrating how digital delivery and BIM capabilities improve client outcomes such as speed, quality, and predictability.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, with emphasis on implementation, standards, and workflow enablement.
· Strong understanding of BIM/CAD standards, BIM/Project Execution Plan requirements, model governance, and data management best practices.
· Experience implementing and supporting Autodesk tools and workflows (Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM environments) in a project setting.
· Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) administration and digital project delivery.
· Familiarity with coordination and clash detection workflows and tools (e.g., Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud Model Coordination).
· Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
