This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-scale consumer credit platform serving millions of users across India’s underserved financial segment. You will contribute to the design and evolution of core backend systems that power real-time lending decisions and financial products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, credit, compliance, and analytics to shape impactful solutions. • Work closely with engineering teams across regions to design, build, and scale backend systems capable of handling high-volume financial transactions and loan applications.
• Develop and enhance platform infrastructure to support multiple financial products and credit instruments.
• Drive improvements in credit decision systems, including iteration on credit policies and risk models.
• Collaborate with product, finance, compliance, support, and analytics teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of services.
• Take ownership of end-to-end development, from design through deployment and production support.

• Strong professional experience in backend development using Java (knowledge of .NET is a plus).
• Hands-on experience working in AWS-native environments, including services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, and Athena.
• Proven track record of building and scaling distributed systems or high-traffic platforms.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability challenges, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to global teams.
• Product-minded engineering approach with strong ownership and accountability for delivered solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
