DUTIES
The successful candidate will instruct all theoretical and practical aspects of the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Sampler, Foundation Program and/or Apprenticeship in order to meet the outcomes as described in the Program Outline as per the Industry Training Authority of BC.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Certification with minimum 5 years' post-certification experience
- Previous post secondary teaching experience in Apprenticeship Training
- Experience using Learning Management Systems
- Served in a recognized apprenticeship program
- Proficient in the operation of machine shop equipment such as the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Assets:
- Provincial Instructor's Diploma or Education Degree
- Supervisory/Management experience
- Machinist Red Seal Certification
Pay Band
$73,665.93 - $114,124.39 ( According to TRUFA Salary Schedule (Range TS01 - TS12) )
