Position Requirements

• Minimum of two years accounting or finance experience (e.g., billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and/or budgeting)
• Good knowledge of electronic billing procedures
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and processing of financial information
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Adobe
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Multi-tasking and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Requirements

• Prior experience with Deltek or other project management software

Essential Duties

• Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices with a high degree of accuracy
• Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications
• Ensure client invoices are distributed electronically, mailed, or uploaded to client portals in a timely manner
• Analyzing all billing procedures and recommending opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring clients' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements
• Address Project Manager’s complaints and questions
• Review and approve employee expense reports
• Preparing reports and meeting billing deadlines
• Provide solutions to any billing related questions or discrepancies
• Working with little supervision and meeting tight deadlines
• Consults with – Accounting staff, Project Managers and Principals

Base Salary Range: $66,300 - $68,000. This salary range is based on what Roux in good faith believes it might pay at the time of posting for this position and for this geographic location. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as relevant work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications, skill sets, and internal equity. In addition, this position is eligible for performance bonuses based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm.
