Inventory Control - Intern at Sanhua International – Gluckstadt, Mississippi

Sanhua is looking for a inventory control and logistics intern to join our team in our Gluckstadt, MS office. This person will work with other teams and identify process gaps and present efficiencies to local leadership.

The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support inventory team with general duties of planning, scheduling, and purchasing inventory.
• Collaborate with vendor management team in negotiations process to learn how to approach and resolve freight cost and rate issues.
• Assist and provide analysis to category management to influence vendor rate decisions
• Ensure accuracy in order processing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance or relevant field
• 1-2 years proven experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
• Familiarity with Import and Export business
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
