Job Description Summary

The Director of IT Business Partnership is a senior-level strategic partner responsible for aligning IT services with business objectives across all divisions. This role focuses on relationship management, demand shaping, and meeting business challenges with IT investments that deliver measurable value and impact our mission.

Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Leadership

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior business leaders, including C-Suite executives, to ensure IT services align with business objectives.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor, guiding the development of IT roadmaps and investment strategies.


2. Business Process Management

  • Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document, refine, and optimize business processes in alignment with IT capabilities.

  • Utilize process modeling tools and techniques to facilitate communication between IT and business units.


3. Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the IT demand management process, ensuring efficient decision making about project intake and prioritization.

  • Facilitate the creation of comprehensive business cases for technology initiatives, emphasizing their value to the organization.


4. Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of IT Business Partners and Analysts.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the IT organization.


5. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, ensuring effective communication and alignment.

  • Advocate for business needs within IT and drive the adoption of innovative solutions that create value.


6. Innovation and Value Creation

  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and industry trends to transform business operations.

  • Champion initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and positively impact our mission.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Expertise in business process management, including process mapping, modeling, and optimization.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Expertise in shaping demand for an internal IT group.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Expertise in change management, strategic planning, and IT governance.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that support organizational goals.


Qualifications and Experience:


Experience:

  • 10+ years in leadership roles within IT, business relationship management or Project management.

  • 5+ years of management of teams preferred.

  • Proven track record of optimizing business processes to drive operational efficiency and alignment with IT capabilities.

  • Experience collaborating with senior executives, including Presidents and C-Suite leaders.

  • Extensive background in IT demand management, business analysis, strategic planning, and program management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related fields; advanced degrees preferred.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., BRM, MBRM, Six Sigma, BPM) are highly desirable.

  • High satisfaction ratings from business stakeholders and IT partners.

  • Measurable improvements in business processes, including efficiency gains and cost savings.

  • Increased throughput and effectiveness of IT demand management processes.

  • Successful delivery of IT projects aligned with strategic business goals.

Total Rewards at Enterprise:

You will be working with a group of talented professionals who are motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing.

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family.

The base salary for this role is $145,000 to $165,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
