Custodian Part Time 1pm-5pm at Career Systems Development Corporation – Brooklyn, New York

Job Summary: Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance and general upkeep of center buildings and grounds.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.
• Performs general janitorial duties in an office, such as cleaning, dusting, washing windows, and moving and polishing furniture and equipment.
• Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors. Vacuums and spot clean carpets.
• Empties trash receptables.
• Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
• Performs minor maintenance repairs. Arranges for repair of office equipment and utilities.
• Transports students as authorized.
• Ensures that all tools and equipment are in good repair.
• Attends required staff training sessions as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum: High school diploma or GED. Six months experience.

Preferred: One year or more work-related experience.

Knowledge: Must possess a valid State driver’s license. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification. Ability to operate power tools.
