The Senior Account Executive will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, engaging directly with finance leaders to understand challenges and demonstrate the business value of the platform. Working in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment, this position balances pipeline development, deal execution, and strategic account management. Success requires leveraging cross-functional collaboration, building multi-threaded relationships, and consistently exceeding revenue targets. - Drive new business growth across a defined territory, targeting organizations with 30–1,000 employees
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to solution presentation and deal closure
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through inbound and outbound efforts
- Engage finance stakeholders, including CFOs, Controllers, and AP leaders, to understand challenges and deliver ROI-based solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Channel) to advance and close opportunities
- Partner with channel and integration partners to source and accelerate deals
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Requirements:
- 5–7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions, ideally in financial or spend management software
- Proven track record of closing five- and six-figure ARR deals
- Experience selling to finance personas and navigating complex, multi-threaded sales cycles
- Strong understanding of finance operations, including AP, expense, payments, and corporate card workflows
- Proficiency in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or ROI-based value selling
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Strong CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and operational discipline
