This role leads high-impact strategic initiatives designed to drive long-term growth and value across the organization. The Director of Strategic Projects will oversee critical joint ventures, identify and execute M&A opportunities, and launch new business ventures that expand the company’s footprint. Working closely with executive leadership, this role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing multiple projects that impact operations, partnerships, and revenue growth. - Oversee existing joint ventures, maintaining relationships with partners and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operating partners, supporting adoption of key initiatives and driving operational excellence
- Develop and monitor metrics for business health, reporting trends and recommending actions to leadership
- Build and maintain governance structures for joint ventures, including board meetings and executive engagement
- Identify and facilitate mergers, acquisitions, and franchise opportunities, including evaluating potential deals, developing financial models, and negotiating terms
- Launch new ventures by recruiting strategic partners, structuring businesses effectively, and coordinating cross-functional efforts
- Partner with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives and ventures
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and strategic project management
- Proven ability to lead teams of analysts, operators, and sales professionals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence C-suite leaders and enterprise clients
- Experience preparing financial models, diligence reports, business plans, and pitch books
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Experience managing multi-national or high-travel initiatives is highly desirable
- Preferred: experience in private equity, banking, hospitality, vacation rental, property management, or franchise industries, with a track record of launching new businesses or initiatives
