This role is a high-impact consulting position focused on delivering enterprise benchmarking engagements and providing actionable insights for clients across modern IT domains. The Benchmark Consulting Manager will lead end-to-end projects, from data collection and analysis to executive recommendations, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring the highest quality deliverables. This role requires strong technical knowledge in cloud, AI, automation, DevOps, and data analytics, combined with strategic thinking and client-facing leadership. - Lead benchmarking engagements from project scoping through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction are met
- Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations, communications, and multi-workstream coordination
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and service mapping to accurately assess client environments
- Analyze client performance using enterprise benchmarks to identify opportunities in cost, productivity, service quality, and sourcing
- Develop financial and operational models, apply scenario analysis, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
- Guide and mentor junior consultants, providing oversight, coaching, and quality assurance
- Support business development, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and identifying follow-on opportunities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, benchmarking, IT analytics, sourcing advisory, or related technical roles
- Proven experience leading client engagements and managing complex, multi-workstream projects
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT organizations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/automation trends, DevOps, and FinOps principles
- Expertise in benchmarking, financial modeling, data analytics, predictive analytics, or machine learning tools
- Ability to assess cost, performance, quality, staffing, service levels, and provider pricing across IT services
- Excellent communication and consulting skills; capable of translating technical findings into clear business insights for executives
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, analytical, or scientific field; advanced degree (MBA/MS) or relevant certifications preferred
- Remote work capability within the US or Ontario, Canada; travel up to 25% may be required
