SR. MECHANICAL DESIGNER at Aerodyne Industries – Greenbelt, Maryland

The candidate will support the DAVINCI project at Goddard Space Flight Center working with the Descent Sphere subsystem team. Daily work assignments include CAD design of Descent Sphere harness, checking mechanical drawings, designing harness mockup hardware, and document development support.

Requisition Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 20-30 years’ experience working with Creo CAD software, knowledge of Creo Cable module, the ability to work without direction, GD&T and CAD skills needed to provide review and correction of mechanical drawings. Previous work experience at Goddard Space Flight Center is preferred.

Additional Information

The candidate must possess a keen understanding of and experience with CAD software, standard computer spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software packages. Excellent written and communication skills are required.
