Position Summary:
The Division of EnrollmentManagement and Admissions Office are seeking an experienced, motivated, personable,articulate, highly organized leader with energy, vision and attention to detailto lead the UNM Welcome Center. This position requires a high energy individualwho can work independently and demonstrate the ability to make thoughtful andprofessional decisions. This position will manage the daily functions andoperations of the Welcome Center, including managing professional staff andnumerous student staff. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this positionhas a vital role ensuring the daily execution of new student recruitmentstrategies articulated through the welcome center - including highly positive visitorengagement and experiences, event planning and management (both in-person andonline), representing the University to community members, and facilitymanagement. Daily activities will include interaction with prospectivestudents, public presentations, campus tours, staff leadership, problemsolving, and use and maintenance of student databases. Work hours include 8am -5pm and several weekends and some evenings.
