Delivery Technician in Pembroke, North Carolina at Healthkeeperz, Inc.

Job Summary:

• To Make deliveries and setup, pull supplies, clean equipment and instruct / teach patients on proper use and safety of equipment

Core Responsibilities:

• Delivery and setup of equipment
• Pull and load equipment
• Contact patient / caregiver to set up time and provide teaching on proper use of equipment
• Solicit additional services
• Complete documentation
• Delivery packets
• Driver logs – pre-trip inspection,
• Equipment maintenance logs, cleaning logs
• Oxygen Trans fill
• Fill O2 portables according to FDA guidelines
• Inspect, clean, label and set up for filling
• Complete, maintain and verify logs
• Receiving, filling and distribution of tanks
• Clean and service equipment according to policy and procedure manuals
• Inspect and repair as needed
• Label all new equipment

Skills and Knowledge:

• Must have customer service skills – dealing with patients and caregivers in a stressful time
• Must have good assessment skills

Additional Information (optional):

• Must be able to adapt to many different situations- limited space, time restraints, un-sanitary conditions

Education/Training:

High School Diploma

Work Experience:

One-year experience in delivery or medical background

Supervisory/Management Experience:

Physical/Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Requires stooping, kneeling, reaching, stooping, hearing, color vision, balancing, handling and communicating to caregivers
