Remote Director of Oncology Disease Area Strategy
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director of Oncology Strategy - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in defining and driving a commercial strategy that aligns with innovative early-stage research and pipeline development in oncology. Your expertise will guide investment decisions, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and patient needs. As a key leader, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, providing insights that shape the future of the oncology portfolio. Accountabilities- Partner with Senior Leadership to define early oncology pipeline commercial strategy.
- Assess external innovation and business development opportunities with R&D and global marketing.
- Support portfolio investment decisions in coordination with the Enterprise Portfolio Governance.
- Develop commercial frameworks and business cases for early-stage assets.
- Build a best-in-class commercial function for oncology early pipeline strategy.
- Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing and/or commercial experience, or
- Masters degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelors degree and 9 years of marketing and/or commercial experience.
- Extensive experience in Oncology and understanding of market trends.
- 8+ years of commercial experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
