This role is centered on leading complex, client-facing initiatives within the benefits administration space, ensuring seamless service delivery and outstanding client outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of project management, client success, and cross-functional coordination, driving execution across onboarding, annual enrollment, and ongoing service improvements. The position requires a strong ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, remote-first environment while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with service delivery, product, technology, and operations teams to ensure alignment and timely execution. With a strong focus on client experience, you will identify risks early, solve problems proactively, and help elevate delivery consistency across engagements. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success.
- Lead and manage client-facing projects across benefits administration, including onboarding, service delivery enhancements, and platform configuration initiatives
- Oversee annual enrollment (AE) planning and execution, ensuring readiness, cross-team coordination, and post-cycle analysis
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using tools such as Smartsheet and Jira, tracking timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability on deliverables
- Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving issues that could impact client timelines or experience
- Coordinate across service delivery, product, technology, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of complex workflows
- Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to project scope and client needs
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing outcomes and identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
- 5–10 years of experience in benefits administration platforms or service delivery environments in a client-facing role
- 2–5 years of direct project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration processes, operational workflows, and annual enrollment cycles
- Hands-on experience working with external clients and managing service delivery expectations
- Proficiency in Smartsheet (required), Jira, and other project management tools
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- PMP certification or experience with large-scale enrollment or SaaS implementations is a plus
