Job Description
We are urgently hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) who are available and interested in working in both home care and facility settings across Toronto. Candidates with consistent, fixed availability are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Home Care Setting
- Assist clients with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Support mobility needs using aids such as wheelchairs, helping prevent falls and injuries
- Safely assist with transfers between beds, chairs, and other positions based on client needs
- Help with meal support, ensuring proper nutrition and adherence to dietary requirements and restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support through active listening, conversation, and encouragement
- Observe and report changes in behavior, health, and overall well-being
Facility Setting
- Deliver care in accordance with facility or hospital policies and care plans
- Support healthcare staff as required within the facility
PSW Escort Duties
- Coordinate transportation and ensure clients travel safely and arrive on time
- Assist with mobility during transport, including standing and walking
- Monitor for post-operative or post-procedure complications and provide appropriate aftercare support
Minimum Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) diploma from an accredited institution
- NACC certification (required if diploma is from a private career college)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Mask Fit certification
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to follow direction from healthcare professionals
- Experience supporting clients with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, or ALS is highly preferred
