Job Description
Cholon is seeking a versatile, high-energy candidate to join our team in a multi-faceted support role. This position is vital to our daily operations, bridging the gap between the front-of-house and the kitchen to ensure a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate is a team player who can pivot between hosting, running food, and managing the expo line with precision and a sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
Host: Greet guests with a professional demeanor, manage the floor plan, and coordinate seating.
Food Runner: Deliver dishes to tables promptly while maintaining a thorough knowledge of our menu and garnishes.
Expositor (Expo): Act as the final line of quality control, ensuring every plate meets our standards before it leaves the kitchen and coordinating between the BOH and service staff.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with both servers and chefs to maintain a smooth flow of service during high-volume shifts.
Requirements:
Availability: Open availability is highly preferred. Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume, upscale, or fast-paced environment is a plus.
Skills: Ability to multitask under pressure, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
