Data Entry Specialist at TDI, LLC

Data Entry Specialist Location: Virginia Beach, VA, 23452 Mission: Purchase order management and direct purchasing

Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of ETL and data validation, a strong working knowledge of Excel for data manipulation, and working with ERP systems such as NetSuite. This position is comparing existing data sets, ensuring the highest degree of accuracy when updating our cost and sale price, to create a TacDis SKU in our inventory worksheet that can be uploaded into NetSuite.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm in our office in Virginia Beach, VA and earns $20-$22/hr depending on experience and background

Key Responsibilities:

Enter product data to support purchase orders
Create part numbers including all detailed information in Excel
Create purchase orders for vendors with high accuracy regarding pricing, delivery, and agreed upon terms
Update product pricing data and keep current
Track inbound shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate as needed
Maintain accurate item data within the system (i.e. product names, descriptions, UPCs, costs, and pricing)
Maintain accurate records of communications, contracts, and performance metrics
Assist in the preparation of advertising sheets, secure samples, and other related duties with corporate promotional events
Additional duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist with high attention to detail
Strong Excel data manipulation skills
Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP experience
Excellent foundation in solving puzzles logically
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Ability to work independently and as an effective member of the team

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
