Schedule: Monday Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.
Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Government/Federal.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
You will serve as a vital field leader, directing the installation and maintenance of essential underground water, sewer, and storm drain infrastructure. This role offers the autonomy to manage high-impact civil projects while mentoring a dedicated crew in a culture that values professional growth and excellence.
How You Will Make an ImpactDirect field crews of 310 workers to ensure high-quality installation of underground utilities and infrastructure.
Manage daily excavation operations in strict accordance with project plans, blueprints, and OSHA safety protocols.
Coordinate complex site logistics and equipment usage to maintain strict project timelines and production goals.
Lead daily safety meetings and hazard assessments to ensure a zero-incident environment for all team members.
Oversee the precision of pipe grades, alignments, and depths to meet exact engineering specifications.
Resolve real-time technical challenges and site discrepancies to prevent project delays or structural issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of labor hours, material inventory, and as-built conditions for project transparency.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in underground utility construction, specifically water, sewer, and storm systems.
Proven ability to lead construction crews and execute complex excavation work with minimal oversight.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed civil construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of trench safety, shoring requirements, and heavy equipment operation.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and a commitment to maintaining a professional culture fit.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or Competent Person training in trenching and excavation.
Possession of a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or Class D Water/Wastewater Operator License.
Demonstrated experience using GPS grade control systems to enhance site accuracy.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered a significant asset.
