About This Position
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, and modern eCommerce platforms. This role will contribute to the delivery of enterprise digital commerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience building scalable front-end applications, strong JavaScript fundamentals, and familiarity with headless commerce architectures. Experience integrating with platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento) and/or Shopware is highly valuable.
This role requires someone capable of developing modern, high-performance user interfaces, understanding front-end architecture best practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development standards within the client environment.
The candidate should also be comfortable joining an active project mid-stream, quickly ramping up, and contributing effectively within an established delivery team.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain front-end applications using React and Next.js
Build reusable UI components and scalable front-end architecture
Integrate front-end applications with commerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce or Shopware
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless digital commerce experiences
Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and scalability
Participate in code reviews and maintain high development standards
Contribute to technical discussions and front-end architecture decisions
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across browsers and devices
Work within Agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions
5+ years of front-end development experience
Strong expertise in React
Experience building applications using Next.js
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Experience working with REST APIs
Experience integrating with commerce platforms, such as:
Adobe Commerce / Magento
Shopware
Experience working with Git and modern development workflows
Strong understanding of component-based architecture
Experience working with headless commerce architectures
Familiarity with GraphQL
Experience working in enterprise eCommerce environments
Experience optimizing performance and improving Core Web Vitals
Experience working in Agile development environments
