Design, develop, and implement core application features, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Lead task planning sessions for new features and provide high-level design and estimates for projects.
Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting a culture of learning and technical excellence.
Collaborate with business and product teams to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
Establish and maintain high coding standards, ensuring software quality and adherence to best practices.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in a senior or staff-level Java development role.
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong expertise in end-to-end feature development and building complex systems.
Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions, lead projects, and mentor other developers.
Excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical decision-making abilities.
