Combat Systems Specialist (remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Combat Systems Specialist - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting key projects for international defense organizations. Your expertise will help deliver critical services to ensure secure communications and information technology capabilities. This position involves collaborating with teams, preparing technical documentation, and analyzing complex operational demands. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of defense systems and capabilities on a global scale.
Accountabilities- Provide flexible technical and analytical support to the BCID CaT, including the preparation of studies, technical papers, and briefing material.
- Support the preparation, coordination, and conduct of BCID CaT meetings and workshops.
- Contribute to the development of Air-to-Ground Cooperative Target Identification concepts.
- Support the evolution of Radio-Based Combat Identification capabilities.
- Monitor and analyze U.S. and NATO DaCAS-related activities.
- Lead development of the DaCAS System Requirements Document in coordination with military specialists.
- Support the development and maintenance of the DaCAS Implementation Handbook.
- Provide expert support to BCID CaT meetings on DaCAS-related topics.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in military communications systems or combat identification.
- Ability to analyze complex operational and technical problems.
- Proven capability to prepare high-quality technical papers and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of defense systems engineering or capability development.
- University degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Work remotely with an opportunity to travel to NCIA The Hague once a month.
- Participate in high-impact projects for international defense and governance bodies.
