The Facilities Specialist assists in maintaining the agency's physical locations, including some minor construction and coordinating with outside vendors. Performs a variety of general cleaning and building maintenance duties including carpet maintenance, and the transporting of all waste, recyclables and other materials.
The Facilities Specialist:
- Maintain the safety and aesthetics of all agency locations, such as hand dust, sweep, dry and/or wet mop, spot clean, vacuum, wash walls, windows, sills, and clean bathrooms in assigned areas. Responds to emergency cleaning needs.
- Maintains the bathrooms, conference rooms, kitchen, and other common areas.
- Deliver supplies to drop sites on a regular basis, keeping PAR levels as the various drop sites, other administrative deliveries.
- Ensures that all housekeeping equipment is clean, safe and properly maintained. Reports all faulty equipment to your supervisor.
- Replaces all consumable supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
- Moves furniture for office set ups, sets up and breaks down for various events, cubical builds, hanging shelves, etc.
- Trash and recycling removal.
- Snow removal and salting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Prior maintenance, construction, or similar job experience.
Compensation Pay Range (depending on experience):
- Minimum: $17.84
- Maximum: $27.66
