Job Overview
Ascend HR Corp | HR Maximizer is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Business Partner to support Legacy Community Health in Houston, Texas. This is a full-time temporary assignment for an experienced HR professional who can step into a fast-paced healthcare environment and provide strong day-to-day partnership to leaders and employees.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted HR partner supporting a designated group of clinics within an assigned Houston-area service region. The successful candidate will bring strong employee relations experience, sound judgment, healthcare HR knowledge, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities- Consultative Partnership: Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees
- Employee Relations: Handle complex ER matters, performance management, corrective action
- Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership on staffing and organizational needs
- Policy & Compliance: Support FMLA, ADA, FLSA compliance
- Operational Alignment: Participate in meetings and provide HR insights
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve workplace concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Collaboration: Partner with recruiting and operations to drive business outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field required
- 7+ years progressive HR experience required
- 3+ years in healthcare or multi-site environment preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred
- Strong employee relations and coaching experience
- Excellent judgment, communication, and business acumen
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
