About This Position

Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique hospitality company that operates restaurants primarily in high-traffic airports, including Denver, San Diego, and John Wayne Airports. Mission operates a wide range of concepts, including fast food, fast-casual, and full-service restaurants and bars. Mission Yogurt is seeking an experienced multi-unit leader to join our team as an Operations Manager In Training at the Denver Airport.


The Operations Manager In Training provides hands-on leadership and strategic oversight across multiple restaurant locations, driving operational excellence and consistent execution of brand standards. This role is accountable for overall business performance, including people development, financial results, and guest experience. The Operations Manager In Training partners closely with Executive, Operational, and Restaurant Leadership to ensure alignment, consistency, and efficiency across all units while fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive performance against key business metrics, including revenue, labor, cost of goods, and guest satisfaction.
  • Build and develop high-performing management teams through coaching, accountability, and succession planning.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company initiatives, new store openings, and operational rollouts across all locations.
  • Support day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations to ensure consistency in execution and adherence to brand standards.
  • Partner with restaurant managers to reinforce operational procedures, safety, sanitation, and quality expectations.
  • Coach and support restaurant management teams through ongoing feedback, training, and development.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Recruiting, and Payroll to uphold company policies, compliance standards, and team accountability.
  • Model professional, ethical, and transparent leadership at all times.
  • Drive performance to achieve and exceed operational and quality benchmarks.
  • Foster strong communication, collaboration, and alignment among all restaurant management teams.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and core values: Loyalty, Innovation, Service, Communication, and Flexibility.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in restaurant management, preferably in high-volume environments.
  • At least 2–3 years of restaurant or retail management experience in a multi-unit environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and support operational success.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.

  • This role is designed as a pathway to Operations Manager. The Operations Manager Trainee will receive ongoing development, mentorship, and performance-based advancement opportunities, with the expectation of progression into an Operations Manager role based on readiness and business needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
