About This Position

In this role, you’ll perform routine cleanings as well as periodontal care, while ensuring each patient feels comfortable and truly valued throughout their visit. Compensation:$62 - $72 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive periodontal cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to support optimal gum health
- Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease before, during, and after treatment
- Take and review dental radiographs to assist in evaluating bone levels and periodontal conditions
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including periodontal charting and updated health histories
- Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care techniques, and the importance of ongoing maintenance
- Monitor and document changes in periodontal health, reporting findings to the doctor as needed
- Apply preventive treatments as appropriate to support long-term oral health
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
