Swim Coach at Holyoke YMCA – Holyoke, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for participants on Greater Holyoke YMCA's competitive swim team, the Holyoke Vikings.

Qualifications:

1. Certifications: CPR, AED, Basic First Aid certification.
2. Must be able to demonstrate competitive swimming skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
3. YMCA swim coach certification or equivalent is a plus (required to be on the deck at league meets)
4. USA Swimming Coach certification is a plus.
5. At least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands:

1. Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper technique
2. Ability to lift equipment, and to assist participants if needed.
