This leadership role is focused on scaling and optimizing driver supply across a fast-growing, technology-driven transportation network. The Director will oversee end-to-end driver acquisition, workforce planning, and onboarding strategies, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet operational demand during both peak and non-peak periods. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, HR, and Recruiting, this position plays a critical role in forecasting needs, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall driver experience. The role also involves building scalable systems, leveraging data insights, and driving process standardization across multiple locations. Success requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to scale driver acquisition and ensure consistent supply across all locations.
- Lead workforce planning efforts, including forecasting driver needs and aligning hiring strategies with seasonal demand.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of driver recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track recruiting success, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Manage hiring budgets and implement cost-effective recruitment strategies aligned with financial goals.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to enhance employer positioning and attract top driver talent.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, HR, and Recruiting teams to align strategies and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Statistics, HR, Mathematics, Economics, MBA, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in workforce planning, operations, or talent acquisition, with leadership responsibilities.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead large-scale, high-visibility programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Experience designing or supporting process automation and scalable operational systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while balancing multiple priorities.
