Receiving Clerk at TPC Wire and Cable – Macedonia, Ohio

The Receiving Clerk will help contribute to the smooth operation and efficient functioning of the ATPC warehouse. They will accept and process all inbound deliveries. They will be responsible for verifying delivered items, unloading inbound trucks, ensuring inventory is stocked correctly, and processing customer returns. This job is 1st shift

· Unload, receive, and sign for all inbound deliveries.

· Inspect deliveries and incoming goods for accuracy and quality, comparing packing slips with actual received goods.

· Complete any necessary ATPC part-specific inspections for parts, cable, assemblies, etc.

· Process all supplier receipts and customer returns in Epicor, following ATPC specifications.

· Communicate all discrepancies, damage, and goods-related issues with customer service, purchasing, our inventory coordinator, or the necessary receiving departments.

· Utilize computerized or automated systems to help accomplish daily tasks.

· Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment is maintained at all times.

· Operate equipment such as forklift, order picker, reach truck, and pallet jack to help perform job duties.

· Willingness and ability to learn and perform various warehouse roles to support overall operations.

· Any other duties assigned by the warehouse manager or team leader.

· High School Diploma/GED.

· Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

· The ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and reach truck is a plus.

· Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Knowledge of warehouse management systems and software is a plus (Epicor, SAP, etc.)

· Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 75lbs consistently.

· Good communication and mathematical skills would be helpful.

· Ability to work independently and make decisions based on training.

· Strong attention to detail in daily tasks assigned.
