This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Business Continuity Manager. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that the organization is well-prepared for business interruptions. This involves collaborating with leadership and the executive team to develop and implement effective business continuity strategies. Your expertise in risk assessment and recovery plans will be critical to safeguarding operations and fostering resilience across departments. You will lead practical training and mock-disaster exercises and guide teams in maintaining operational continuity during unexpected disruptions.Accountabilities
  • Develop, maintain, and implement business continuity and recovery strategies.
  • Recommend and assist with recovery solutions.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Business Continuity Management Software (BCMS).
  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses to prioritize continuity efforts.
  • Design, develop, and document department-level Business Continuity plans.
  • Plan and conduct mock-disaster exercises to test BC plans.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness sessions for staff.
  • Monitor internal and external risks to operations.
  • Support client and sponsor RFIs, audits, and compliance requests.
  • Mentor and train new Business Continuity team members.
  • Assist with Facilities-led initiatives.
Requirements
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in business continuity planning or risk management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business continuity planning and project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Business Continuity SOPs/WPs and industry Good Practice Guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on risk assessment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally.
  • Experience mentoring or training team members is an advantage.
