Internship- Construction Safety at Sterling Construction Company, Inc. – Denver, Colorado

Interns will be expected to assist in:

Maintaining divisional Safety and Health Program that meets or exceeds corporate minimum requirementsEnsure timely reporting of statistical data to corporateCreate, communicate, enforce and identify opportunities for improvements in Corporate Safety ProgramMaintaining all administrative tasks related to project specific safety documentation/filing systems, etc.Assist in conducting regularly scheduled site evaluations, follow up and tracking of corrections to deficienciesEnforce documentation on the proper training of employees as related to their scope of work

• Junior or Senior (highly preferred)
• Minimum GPA 2.75
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related degree.
• Past construction work experience is preferred but not required
