You will lead government affairs initiatives, engaging with Congress, federal agencies, and industry associations to influence legislation and regulatory decisions. The position requires building strong, trusted relationships with policymakers while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Operating remotely with a collaborative, cross-functional approach, you will monitor legislative developments, provide strategic counsel, and guide internal teams on government engagement. • Develop and execute comprehensive federal lobbying and advocacy strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Represent organizational interests before Congress, the Executive Branch, federal agencies, and trade associations.
• Manage government affairs initiatives on key issues including manufacturing policy, trade regulations, and electronic materials.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple U.S. subsidiaries to ensure consistent policy positions and engagement approaches.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on legislative and regulatory developments, recommending strategic responses.
• Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with lawmakers, federal officials, industry groups, and coalitions.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all government interactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of federal government affairs experience, ideally with focus on manufacturing, healthcare, or electronic materials policy and trade issues.
• Proven success in lobbying Congressional members, Executive Branch officials, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes with a history of executing effective advocacy campaigns.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated judgment, integrity, and discretion in high-level stakeholder interactions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
