- Handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense cases with dedicated support staff.
- Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies.
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Assess claims and negotiate settlements effectively.
- Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws.
- Participate in mediation and dispute resolution.
- Maintain strong client relationships through collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of California Worker's Compensation law.
- 2 - 10 years of experience in workers' compensation defense litigation.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Admission in good standing to the State Bar of California.
- Experience taking and defending depositions.
- Experience in all WC hearings.
- Preparation of cases for trial appearances.
- Base Compensation: $110,000 - $215,000 + Additional Bonuses (D.O.E.)
- Quarterly bonuses paid out.
