Position Type: Full-time/Exempt/Salary

Reports to: Senior Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Manufacturing Facility)

Summary Objective

The EHS Coordinator will provide administrative and support services within the Department of Environmental Health and Safety.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in investigating accidents or near misses to discover root causes and prepare necessary reports.
  • Reports on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
  • Tracks, documents, and catalogs all safety metrics KPI's using contract management accounts including ISNetworld, KGC & ACC, and DISA.
  • Remains up to date on changes in safety regulation policy as well as new company safety initiatives.
  • Assists in tracking compliance status and OSHA incident logs through dashboards.
  • Assists in the administration of the Stellar Energy safety training, to include STOP program.
  • Updates various safety programs as needed, to maintain compliance with customer guidelines.
  • Schedules and maintains routine safety inspections.
  • Manages safety violation policy.
  • Assists with budget preparation, program changes, development of goals, and short- and long-range planning.
  • Maintains necessary files and records to prove the department is compliant with local, state, and national safety laws, guidelines, and ordinances.
  • Assists with employee training, development, and relations as needed.
  • Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Location

This position will work out of our Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX.

Work Environment
This position is based at our manufacturing facility which is an industrial environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, loud noise and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of Safety or office experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  • Valid qualification in occupational health and safety

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
